If you are ever having trouble getting your baby to poop, I highly recommend prunes. They work...I mean they seriously will have your baby pooping in no time at all. I do not, however, recommend feeding her prunes for three meals in a row. This will result in uncontrolled pooping around the clock. Your baby will poop out everything - meals from yesterday, meals from last week, meals that she consumed second hand while still in the womb! Your previous dream sleeper who sleeps all the time, will wake up pooping. No one told me that prunes will work like this. My child who normally poops once every 3-4 days, pooped about 8 times yesterday and about 6 times the day before that. I have never seen (or smelled) anything like this. So, Mommy lesson # 517....if your child is constipated, feed her prunes ONE time and ONE time only. Do not feed her prunes ever again, as this one feeding of prunes will last her for her entire life! It is also important to note, that babies love prunes and will want to eat them at every meal and will refuse other foods just so that you will feed them more prunes, do not give in!!
Here is one of Gemma's 6-month portraits that I took. I am a little late in getting this up, she will be 7-months-old on Saturday! She was laughing at Ben when I took this picture...too cute!

she is such a great blend of the both of you!
I'm laughing so hard right now. We haven't started Anna on solids yet (she's not quite 5 months), but I will remember your advice as she sounds about as regular as Gemma usually is...
