Summer fun

The view from Motueka looking back to Nelson. My great, great, great grandfather was one of the first immigrants to New Zealand. The "Whitby" which is the name of the boat he came over on from Scotland, landed not far from where this picture was taken. The family settled in Motueka.

This monument was erected in honor of the first settlers and my great, great, great grandfather's name is on the plaque. He was the local flour miller and the original mill stones are what you can see on the monument.

Gemma- a rugby girl in the making.

Auntie Toni and Gemma playing on the trampoline.

On the beach in Mapua where we were celebrating my aunt and uncle's 40th wedding anniversary!

The family at the boathouse cafe.

More time on the trampoline with Gemma

Gemma helping to make a smoothie.

Gemma loves to chase the chickens around the farm.
