We love this area! This was my 4th trip here (3 as a family, 1 as a backpacker)! We spent the 4th of July weekend hiking the Swiss Alps, eating lots of fondue and hanging out with my cousin Daniel, his wife Helen and their daughter Isla. Isla is only 4 months older than Gemma so it was fun for the girls to play together. It's no wonder that the town we stayed in means "Valley of Waterfalls". There is one everywhere you look.

On our way home, we stopped by Lake Brienz to feed the ducks and stretch our legs. Here is Ben goofing around with both the girls.

Gemma and Isla spent a lot of time in the backpacks while we were hiking but we took lots of breaks for the girls to stretch and run around a bit. Gemma is not quite walking yet, but she loves to take a few steps holding on to Daddy's hands.

Here are the 6 of us about to start another hike. We had been rained on during on morning hike, so we stopped and ate some fondue and waited for the sky to clear up before hiking again. Both girls did really well in the packs and we had a great time.
