This blog wouldn't be complete without pictures of Gemma! She finally started walking before we left for Spain. Almost exactly on her 14month birthday. One of her favorite activities is getting into the pantry and grabbing what she can and then walking it into the living room or her playroom and dropping it somewhere else. Her she is carrying a bag of coconut around! I always know when she has gotten into something because she lets out shrills of delight as she takes each step!
Today I was in the shower, so I locked her in the bathroom with me and she took the opportunity to pull off about half the roll of toilet paper and carried it over to the bathtub and tore it into a billion pieces and dropped them into the tub! Little stinker! 
We played outside for a bit today and Gemma loves playing in her 'tub'. It is filled with birdseed and sand toys so it's a little easier clean up than a sandbox. I set her outside of it to reach in and play with, but after about .3 seconds she had crawled inside and was happily digging around! She is pointing up at an A 10 that is flying overhead in this picture and saying her best version of "airplane". She LOVES to point out airplanes. Half the time she says "Dada" instead of airplane.
